Writing Lab
The Technical Writing Lab (TW Lab) is a teaching lab reserved
for students taking technical writing courses in the Department
of English. The TW Lab computers are equipped with the
following programs:
- Dreamweaver
- FrameMaker
- Full Shot
- Internet Explorer
- Microsoft Office
- Photoshop
The lab staff are specially trained to help students learn
word-processing and graphics applications used to produce
technical and business documents. They are also trained
to give the following in-class orientations:
- Microsoft Word Basics
- Microsoft Word Gantt Charts
- Microsoft Word Graphics
- Microsoft Word Manuals
The lab staff are trained to give the following orientations
for upper-level technical writing courses:
- Dreamweaver Basics
- Dreamweaver Advanced
- FrameMaker Basics
- FrameMaker Advanced
- FrameMaker Graphics
- Photoshop Basics
