Dr. David Holdeman

Dr. David Holdeman, Professor, received his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Michigan and his B.A. from Indiana University.

Dr. Holdeman's principal publications include Much Labouring: The Texts and Authors of Yeats's First Modernist Books (Michigan, 1997) and "In the Seven Woods" and "The Green Helmet and Other Poems": Manuscript Materials by W. B. Yeats (Cornell, 2002).

Dr. Holdeman's main scholarly interests include modernism, modern and contemporary Irish literature and culture, literary and cultural theory, and editorial theory.

Dr. Holdeman was Program Chair for the Twelfth International Interdisciplinary Conference of the Society for Textual Scholarship which was held during Spring 2003.

In addition, Dr. Holdeman currently serves as Chair of the Literature Division.
