Dr. Alice Mathews

Dr. Alice Mathews (University of North Texas, 1987), Lecturer, specializes in the works of John Milton, Renaissance literature, Victorian literature, and technical editing.

Dr. Mathews' essays have appeared in such publications as Spokesperson Milton, Arenas of Conflict, and Victorians

Dr. Mathews was editor of CCTE Studies from 1991-1994; and proposed and directed a NEH Institute for teachers of American literature and history.

Dr. Mathews has also served as Assistant Chair of the Department of English since 1988.
