Dr. Kathryn Raign

Dr. Kathryn Rosser Raign, Director of Freshman Composition and Director of the University Writing Center, holds a BA and MA from Texas Tech University, and a PhD from Texas Christian University.

Dr. Raign's areas of specialization include classical rhetoric, composition theory, critical theory, and technical communication theory. She currently directs the freshman composition program and teaches both rhetoric and technical writing courses.

Dr. Raign has published the Harcourt Guide to Teaching First Year Composition (1998) and is currently working on two more book-length projects.
