Continuous Enrollment Requirement

Continuous enrollment applies to the student admitted to a master's or doctoral degree that requires completion of a thesis or dissertation.

Once work on the thesis or dissertation has begun, the student must continuously enroll in a minimum of 3 semester hours of thesis (5950) or dissertation (6950) during each long semester until the thesis or dissertation has been completed and submitted to the graduate dean for acceptance.

Doctoral students must maintain continuous enrollment subsequent to passing the Ph.D. examination.
