| Establishing
a Thesis or
Dissertation Committee
Both thesis and dissertation committees
are composed of three faculty members. The thesis or dissertation
will be directed by a qualified faculty member whose area
of expertise is in the student's major area. Two other faculty
members from the Department of English constitute the rest
of the thesis or dissertation committee.
The Chair of Graduate Studies and the Graduate
Advisor will assist the student in the selection of the
thesis or
dissertation committee.
