Texas Review
North Texas Review (NTR)
is a literary journal representing the best poetry, fiction,
non-fiction, and artwork among University of North Texas
students. All students at the University of North Texas
are welcome to submit work in the following areas for consideration:
- Art (Painting, photography, graphic design, etc)
- Creative Non-Fiction
- Critical Essays of Contemporary Literature
- Poetry
- Short Stories
North Texas Review accepts
students' submissions during the Fall semester. Students
who wish to submit to NTR should
turn in their submissions to the English Department Main Office in room 112 of the Auditorium Building. Submissions are typically accepted from Novermber 15th until January 15th.
All submissions to NTR must
include the following:
For both text and graphic submissions:
A hard copy of your work. Include a cover page with the
title of your work, your name, your e-mail address, and
your phone number (include the area code). Your name and
contact information should be on the cover sheet only. Do
not put your name on the entry itself.
For text submissions:
An electronic copy of your entry (titled) in MS Word, RTF,
or TXT format on a virus-free disk with your name, your
e-mail address, and your phone number (include the area
code).
For graphics submissions:
An electronic copy of your work in JPEG format on a virus-free
disk with your name, your e-mail address, and your phone
number (include the area code).
