North Texas Review

North Texas Review (NTR) is a literary journal representing the best poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and artwork among University of North Texas students. All students at the University of North Texas are welcome to submit work in the following areas for consideration:

  • Art (painting, photography, graphic design, etc.)
  • Creative Non-Fiction
  • Short Fiction
  • Poetry

North Texas Review accepts students' submissions during the fall semester only, typically from November 15th to January 1st.

All submissions to NTR must include the following:

For text submissions:
An electronic copy of your entry in MS Word, RTF, or TXT format, using a standard font size and style. Please limit poetry submissions to five, fiction and creative nonfiction to fifteen double-spaced pages.

For graphic submissions:
A high-res electronic copy of your work in JPEG format. Limit art submissions to five.

Please include a cover letter listing the work titles and your contact information. Put your name and "submission" in the subject line, and email to ntr2009@yahoo.com.
