Studies in the Novel
Submission Information
SITN invites submissions on all aspects of the novel from its inception to the present day. We are as interested in traditional texts as in newly discovered works, emerging novelists, popular genres (such as children's literature, mass market novels, the graphic novel, and experimental long fiction), and contemporary critical methods.
Send submissions via e-mail attachment in MS Word or WordPerfect. Manuscripts should be 25 to 28 pages in length with standard formatting and should conform to the latest edition of the MLA Style Manual. Endnotes should be as brief and as limited in number as possible. Illustrations may accompany articles. Photocopies are acceptable for first review; high-quality glossy prints or high-resolution digital files (JPEGs preferred) must be provided upon article acceptance. All copyright permissions must be obtained by the author prior to publication.
Editorial decisions are made within 90 days.
