Applying for the Endorsement in
Technical Writing

Students majoring in English may apply for the Endorsement in Technical Writing. To qualify, students must have completed the following courses with a grade of B or above:

• ENGL 2700 : Technical Writing
• ENGL 4180 : Advanced Technical Writing
• ENGL 4190 : Technical Editing
• ENGL 4250 : Technical Procedures and Manuals

Please note that these four courses are administered by the Department of Linguistics and Technical Communication, separate from the Department of English.
