It was formerly published by the Joseph Conrad Society (Poland). It is a continuation (in a different form) of The Conrad News (Informacje Polskiego Klubu Conradowskiego), which was published from 1976 to 1995 by the Polish Conradian Club under the auspices of the Society of Friends of the Polish Maritime Museum in Gdansk. The journal contains essays and a section that records the most important events, conferences, academic sessions and seminars devoted to Conrad which are held in Poland.
